  • Hey there, I have not been on here in a very long time. But you come to mind so often. How are you? how are your critters? What is new with you? I have been in the world of cheese making with my goat milk. It has been an adventure, but I have mastered a large number of cheeses and goat butter. The butter is the best I have ever had, amazing... anyway, just thought I would see how you are.

I have 2 fields fenced. The back and biggest has the worst fence. I’m gonna try to get some of it fenced this winter. Horrible brush, trees, vines in the fence rows. I had the front field bulldozed. Back field fenceline has a drop off on one side, a deep gully on the backside, so I’ll be doing a lot of hand work.

That will be AFTER I tear down a string of crappy chicken coops, an outbuilding, the remains of a round pen and a chute all grown up in blackberry vines that are over my head. Then I can move two 40’ shipping containers and get them blocked up. Busy winter. I’d love to come visit in a week or two!

That was Joe, my heart horse. My husband bought him for me in our first year of marriage. He was 31 when we had to put him down. Purest white cremello, with those blue eyes, I still miss him. What a privilege to have had Joe in my life.

Thats so sad. Our horse who now lives at our neighbors house as a pasture friend(still useable)is called Floe, she is white with some small gray speckles,I will send you a pic the next time I see her.She still belongs to us but our neighbors can use her more, they are good friends of our family.
I found an old thread where you had mentioned ivermectin Apple paste for horses as a dewormer and de licer for pigs. Can you tell me how much you gave per pound for the pigs?

I just found that post and gave you the details. It works and it is easy to administer.
Did you enjoy Erick's writings? You can call him and discuss Abatolians with him if you are considering getting one. Not all bloodlines are the same.
Thanks for all your support. Hoping to get Gracie to stop barking/whining/howling all night long. Hope you have a good night.
