I have a question about my nest box

I'm not sure if anyone else has this problem, but I've had the same issue with different does. Just that small piece of wood, sanded so its smooth of course has been a life saver for me. And just make sure you check them several times a day to be sure none are separated from the litter. The doe...

I have a question about my nest box

I haven't used any other nest boxes and these are the ware boxes from tractor supply. I think they are too big, but I know they say size has something to do the health of the litter. I check mine several times a day, besides the kits outside of the nest the other way they die is to get...

I have a question about my nest box

I have those boxes too, and after loosing several kits to getting dragged out of the nest or jumping out, I put a small piece of wood across the top. The doe has no issue with it and I haven't lost any kits since. I tried angling the boxes but it didn't make any difference. If you use wood...

    Breed question - Newbie

New Zealand white and Californian are often cross bred. They are probably a cross since pure Cali have darker points. If you are just using for meat they will be fine.

I heard some organic seed growers that used to grow seed for Johnnys, that they stopped buying seed from them. They started having their seed grown by growers from China. So I don't buy Johnnys expensive seed anymore. My compost is very hot in some places, but the problem is I only have one...

Has anyone here ever used the Ballista Penetrating Bolt Gun from bunnyrancher.com?

So I have used the broomstick on a few rabbits, small young rabbits not a full grown rabbit yet. I actually sold some rabbits for dog food to someone and they asked me to dispatch first. Since then I culled 2 as well. It is not fun for small rabbits, and they definitely move around alot after...
