Got back home last night. Need to get the pictures hubs took of our winter setup.
It's 60° out and a very beautiful fall day. I walked out to check on the bees and they are very busy. Looks like orientation flights going on and still lots of pollen being brought in.
Sorry about the truck in the background. Didn't really pay any attention until I uploaded the video. You can hear the bees buzzing at the end.

It was a pretty nice day today. The bees were out and about a little. Hubs wanted to see if they were utilizing the sugar blocks. They were.

We're having a club Christmas party next week. With a bee related gift exchange if you want to participate. I bought a queen clip and hive tool. I also wanted to gift something unique. I found this file for a 3D printed lantern. My son has several printers and does a lot of 3D printing and I've done a little. It has 3 different designs on it. I also bought a candle with a timer on it.
I'm also bringing small bottles of buckwheat honey to share. Evidently they don't grow buckwheat in their area. Everyone wants to try it. I'm fine with that. It's still not my favorite...lol
I chose a gold & silver filament.
