I want to find some mosquito fish, so far no luck. Not sure I want to buy online, shipping costs for fish is expensive.

A friend here had a pond, she got her mosquito fish from the county free. Might be that your state or county has a program for that.

IS that what they are?? We've got them as well. Only see them once in awhile -- usually after a good rain -- some are BIG!

I'm not sure about that... first one was okay... then maybe it was the thought Iof what I was eating and I couldn't do it anymore...

Yeah, they can get quite large.
