WOW, I guess I don't follow the horse posts.... That's a b@#$h.... I have one that is a "greenhouse" and the plastic is splitting along the top "ridgeline".... no way to really reinforce it as the material just deteriorates.
It's on a different forum, for mini horses. Have a thread for my minis and one for my ponies. They seem a bit friendlier & more interactive over there vs the regular horse sized forums.

Yeah, 3 pipes broke, cable snapped and it wiggled itself to freedom, bending a tpost, wiggling and slanting others & taking a tpost 4ft out of the ground entirely.
It must of been the location, bc there's the same size n brand shelter next to the koi pond and it didn't even move.

That's key!! Yes, endophyte isn't good. Affects animals as well as birthing issues.
I'm reading that seedheads have the most of the fungus(source-people on FB) and so does the first 3in from the ground on the plant. In hay, supposedly, 30-60% of it drops in the first month. Source-pictured below.
So, maybe it's okay after all? Idk.

So, cattle HATE orchard grass hay.
Three days and they only stomp through two flakes, very little eaten, screaming at me nonstop for food. 🙄
The few bales that are left of the old hay is for them. They better hope grass comes in, fast!

And since sheep are horrifically wasteful, I had to quickly rig up better feeders, so that they won't waste the new hay.

These feeders have reduced waste to an all time low! Night n day difference. It's wonderful. Definitely never going back!!

Rigged up another feeder. Not fully done, but testing it out. Have another to put together. 20230220_121754.jpg20230220_150859.jpg
