its not for showmanship but at state fair once saw 5 people fitting the cow for this kid and the kid just stands there and watches I think that at least for 4-H the kids should at least have to help fit their cows. I think that a lot of parents are more into the animals winning then the kid

Fitting my cows is really fun I know it doesn't look very good when I do it but I like doing it and at least I do it myself and training my animals is also really fun I wouldn't even want to show if I didn't do anything with my animals I would rather lose every single class my animals are in then have them win but I didn't even do anything for them.
