Coffee is ready. Got boxes moved upstairs yesterday for my sister snd made some room on her covered deck. Going back this morning to do whatever needs doing. I put the visiting dogs out this morning, Carson refused to come out of my bedroom. I’ll have to crate the visitors today, at home they have a doggy door, but not here. Sammy the pug is loving the hole Carson dug under the porch and that the rains filled with water. The little bundle of boundless enthusiasm comes tearing back in, filthy, muddy and wet. I catch him and put him in the crate until he dries out.
I even miss muddy paws...

@fuzzi top side of same system rolled thru here last night. It was a pretty big deal for half hr or so -- huge winds, lightening & rain -- then lesser rain for another hr or so. Messed up my mowing plans, also 😖 That, after I'd waited 2 days for tall grass to dry out!! Another couple of days now. I'll need to bale it like hay when I can finally cut. 😁

Now they say mid 90s+ all week. Only mid 70s at night. That'll be so much fun. NOT. Guess it's time for summer, after all June is half over. 🤷 Time flies.

Looks like I'm getting farm days now. This time of yr the jobs are small & few. Seasonal as usual. May only work 2 days next week, short days, too.

Coffee and forbidden carbs (buttermilk biscuit). Then checked on sheep. Moses began pasture patrol in the timber and turned up directly behind me mysteriously. He shouldn’t have had the time to get behind me if he went through the woods and he didn’t walk in front of me because I would have seen him. :idunno Not the first time I’ve had a how did you get There? moment with him. Maybe he teleports. Ugh check fences time. Got a broody on four, what to do. Hen house isn’t a good brooder area, too many nooks and crannies. Big project to fix that space. Dang. Have a good day everyone.

Cooking today in the 90's possible tornadoes and hail with cold front hitting Sunday with highs in the 50's with possible snow on the west side of the state.
Welcome to Montana, enjoy your stay.:gig
Did you have any damage from the tornado?

We received just below 1" of rain, leaves all over, lots of thunder, but only one huge overhead CRACK lightning strike. I think the worst of it skirted north of us.

This morning I'm making bread, just finished mixing/kneading. I've at least an hour while it rises, so I'm heading out to the store.

We got 1-1.25" here last night. Yeah, a few small limbs around. A 10' feeder over turned, that kinda stuff. Saw as I went out to milk this morn.

It's a little cooler today, so I just came in for water & lunch. Scrubbed out water tubs, refilled clean & cool water👍 several goats were just hanging out watching, so I took the opportunity & began worming. Had to grab a couple on the fly but most were ok. I've got 3 who like the apple ivermectin and smell, then try to bite it. 😁 Push the button, done! One follows for more. So 25 +/- got it. Last weekend I worked about 15. There's only 6-7 to go. I'll get later today. This wet weather!!! Some looked fine but, everyone gets treated this month.

What's next??? Can't stop now! :jumpy:bunny:highfive:
