My dad says next year we will set up a pen for trump to be by himself and trump needs a buddy but we can't put a steer in there with him because the steers need to eat a lot of grain and trump can't have that much. Someone we know has mini cattle and we could get one and put it with Trump but would trump just beat it up? or would it be fine to put a mini steer with a bull?

My dad took me and my brother deer hunting for the first time this year. We didn't see anything when we were sitting there but this year there is a lot less deer.

Time for a chick update...these photos were taken at the beginning of November so the chicks are bigger now....but these are the most recent photos I have right now.

Chick #1
Chick #1 is Leghorn X Partridge Wyandotte?...I know for sure that the leghorn is the mom and I am pretty sure the Partridge Wyandotte is the dad. I don't know for sure what sex but I am kinda thinking rooster

Chick #2 is Rhode Island Red X Partridge? Wyandotte. I think the Red is the mom and the Wyandotte is the dad.
I have no idea what sex it is

Chick #3 is a full Partridge Wyandotte?
I don't even have a guess what sex it is

Right now it is -9 degrees but it feels like -21 degrees.

We are selling the calves in the morning

-9 is really cold but that is nothing compared to last year. Last year it got down to -40.
The tempature here isn't so bad it is the wind chill that makes things awful. On Saturday it is supposed to get to 20 degrees and that is really nice for this time of year but then I look and it is supposed to feel like -10 degrees with the wind chill.

3 years ago we went to Texas in January to watch a football game and it was like 50 degrees and everyone that lives in Texas were wearing their coats and we were just wearing t shirts.
