The one I am building the house for took two months to close on his house. Run around like this, add in buyer trying to put it in LLC, find out LLC has members that weren't added on the paperwork, property has a structure built by previous owner over the lines, adverse possession which was filed before he bought the place, and then got sued by the neighbors over it that settled out of court.You can say that again. Yet no one seems to get fired. It's accepted as "this is how it goes" and I'm of the angry opinion the same as you. FIRE THEM then this nonsense won't continue to be "normal". If I don't do my job I am fired. How is this stuff allowed?

I am enjoying being retired. Today I was able to get several tasks completed that required a phone call. One was with Duracell (battery people), and the customer service rep was so professional that I told her I'd buy Duracells in the future. Chewy.com also has excellent customer service, and I've never had a bad experience with Chick Fil A.
Why can't other companies do the same?

NFR is the National Finals Rodeo. Some call it the Super Bowl of Rodeo. One of my favorite things of the year.What's NFR? Not freezing? Lol
We talked about going to Yellowstone during the winter for a weekend to stay at the lodge next year, with our daughter and her hubs. Not sure where we will start, might be where you live.
You should come visit! Lots of great things to do in Yellowstone, even in the winter.
But most of my town does want it...
Honestly, we just need it, and we're getting it currently.

I'm not against it... we really need moisture, so will take it any way we can get it... 1-4 inches expected according to local forecast...

don't want it. Don't need it. Hoping @farmerjan gets "my" share. Actually expect -1" and then icy slosh. Then frozen roads. Hope not, but suggested.They were brining roads today. When we do get snow, VDOT diligently uses brine, sand and plows the main roads/highways. But anything over 4-6" is really a "shut down"....they call in equipment from surrounding areas. Nothing like that this time.
I ran across a photo from late Feb 2025...Prob 3" then. Most in about 6 yrs. Usually dusting or an inch. Highly inconvenient.
