Older children can do the bathrooms.

Lol most of the time they do, however I have a lot of bedding to wash and I just want to get it done asap. Normally they would be cleaning the bath room but I do it every other time to make sure it getting completely done. My oldest is 12 the second oldest is 9 (soon to be 10). We have well water and It can cause build up and neither of them can get it off. They do okay when its been clean the week before by me but if i don't do it at least once it gets nasty. Currently going to be lazy and work on my meal plan and eat my lunch. I need to use up our yellow squash and zucchini they are taking over my fridge also getting plenty of green beans not enough to can its like two meals worth for us. Trying to use the clothing line more our last electric bill was $637, this house is 2600sq foot then add in the single pane windows(most of which now have curtains, and blinds. Just in the living room there are 7 large floor to ceiling windows. three in the kitchen one in the laundry, 2 the bathrooms have 1 window each and every bedroom has 1-3 windows. My 9 year old will be mowing the yard today for me, with the help of his 7 year old brother who gonna be picking up the branches that have been falling. Also need get a wood pile going for fall and winter fire for the fire place. Part of me questions my sanity with the garden and the chickens at this point.

That one I know lol. I grew up near Texarkana and the amount of rain east Texas gets its amazing you don't float away lol. Dh and I were discussing that and every house we have looked into we check the flood history on. We also have been looking into how to power the house or if it has a other then electrical heating system. Back when I was little probably 6-8 there was a Ice storm that hit Texarkana and we and our extend family(who were all in one house at the time 20+people kids and adults) were out of power for like a week. Thankfully there was a kerosene heater, along other cooking options. But i remember the adults freaking out some because of the situation. I also have issues with trees next to houses thanks to that once you hear branches cracking and breaking from the temps you don't forget it. I also lived a short time in Austin only then to move to the coast and dealt with hurricanes lol. I am very aware of those dangers lol. I find it funny because I married a man who thought storm chasing was fun lol and I am very much avoid bad weather person if possible lol. Possibly why I am very adamant about having back ups to my back ups lol. And why I am forcing my self to learn things that allow us to be more self sufficient.

Just so you know, Texas real estate law says seller DOES NOT have to disclose that a house floods. Only has to tell you if you ASK. Get it in writing through real estate agent.
