I read about how you shouldn't let you goat jump on you but oh my gosh are those babies cute, all jumping to get some snugglies from you. And then BAM tonight! Three week old Lily leaps as I start to sit on a chair and now I have a fat lip that is not so cute.

How about having 148 lb Ginger try to sneak into your lap every time you sit down in her presence? A couple of times I let her get her knees folded on my lap and her butt was in the air, she couldn't figure out what to do with it. Then she fell right on her back trying so I stopped letting her try. I was worried she'd get hurt. She was not a jumper as a baby but she was a great snuggler and lap-napper.

One of our twins would jump on my back whenever I had to bend over to pick something up. Those little hooves really dig in and hurt. Thankfully it didn't take long to break him of it.

All my wethers (8 weeks old) love to jump into my lap once I sit on a stump in the yard. However, I have been careful not to allow them to jump on me. Until recently, one of them consistently ran up from behind me and butted me as I'd was bringing hay to their feeder! I could see where that was headed..."120 lb Saanen flattens woman, face down in goat yard! News at Eleven!!" So I constantly scolded him and bopped him on the head. He has since stopped. Now my next challenge is getting them to stop chewing my hair!
