Just hope they found the leak this time!
They went over it with a fine tooth comb. Son drove it back. I’m busy today, but have to go get diesel tomorrow, my Kawasaki mule is on empty and Carson needs his mule rides in the mornings! Plus he’ll get a truck ride too.
Truck is a 2004 F250 Lariat diesel. I bought it for BJ and surprised him with it. I’ve had this emotional thing with the truck, unwilling to let it go. After a lot of soul searching, I’ve finally decided that I could trade it in for another one. Son has run up on some good deals, but I just couldn’t let go. I told him a couple of months ago that I’m finally open to trade and getting a newer truck.
I have to have a truck for pulling trailers and the things I do. Son said my next truck will have a gooseneck hitch, so I guess I’ll learn the art of gooseneck trailers versus the bumper pull flatbed and stock trailers I have now.
Truck ride for Carson tomorrow!

Truck shopping is hard & expensive. I did this over a yr ago & just cried at prices. Decided I wasn't popping for "bigger & better". Felt that at my stage of farming, I didn't need it. 🤷 Wasn't emotional, just factual and financial. Plus my location made things a little more convenient....paved roads!

I went and got feed today. Super bag, 960 pounds. Carson got a truck ride plus his favorite lady gave him dog biscuits. I bailed the feed into 5 gallon buckets, then dumped into metal trash cans. Was soaking wet, sweat dripping off me. Sat on the porch to cool off.

I sure hope you had a ginormous glass of iced tea (sweet tea of course) while you sat on the porch. 🧋
