I had 3 pages of discussion on Buford and they got moved to his journal.

I got 2 1/2 inches of rain a couple days ago. Thirsty ground soaked it right up. The grass greened up, amazing how fast that happens. There is still plenty of brown, it is that time of year for it to go dormant.

I was very confused about the page move. But I'm leaving my questions over there, so no one will think I'm a total airhead. 😂

So glad the rain is working its magic! 💗

It’s been pouring rain, but is starting to clear out. I have to meet my DD in Kingwood, 2 hours away, at 10:00 to get a new phone. Mine is taking 2 days for texts to show up, calls out take 3-4 tries for it to ring. Calls in tell people that I’m not accepting calls. The charging port is not making good connection. It’s plugged in now but I have to pull the cord to the right and up, then hold it. Then I get the joy of figuring out a new phone.

My Kawasaki mule has a problem. I lost the lug nuts on left back wheel, only one left. Can’t break loose any of the others, to take one to match up. VIN number didn’t do any good, it’s got aftermarket wheels. Friend Chris has an impact wrench, gonna call him.

You are getting plenty of rain down there while we have got hardly any. Fields are dry and not regrowing. Only 2 cuttings this year and last cutting only 52 bales instead of 74 like first cut. Hay also did not grow high - Payton said it was short but thick. I will buy those bales for the sheep. We finally got some rain last night. Hope we get more to regrow the pastures.

I got 1 inch of rain. It came down hard and quick. That storm was moving fast. I hope you get rain. Unless you have winter grass, growing season is over. Bahia and Bermuda goes dormant. A frost will shut it down until spring.
