I had a vet recommend that product for my hen. The wound has to be cleaned, first, then the hydrogel seals it, to keep dirt out.

I took Buford to the feed store today, 1 hour away. He stress panted there and back but did ok.

Carson screamed his grief at not going, barked, cried and made me feel bad. I just finished unloading feed, hot, dripping sweat, got some ice water. I’ll take him to the Post Office in a little while.

Buford went the feed store. I had to go to the bathroom and had to move him around just to close the door. He was not happy being trapped in that little room and was glad to get out of there.

He laid at my feet in the store. People petted him with my permission and he never flinched. He was freaked out over the whole thing but was not in a blind panic. We are improving.
