Day 5
Not much happening. Ozel and Buford continue to ignore each other. Ozel just wants lots of love and hugs. She sat in front of me, then very gently and softly offered a paw. I stopped petting, she offered paw. I showered her with attention and she finally put both paws in my lap and stood on me. Probably trying to figure out how to get in my lap.
Oxel got lots of hugs.
This morning after the failed romance between Ozel and Buford, I put Buford in the holding pen with Ozel, and Carson in the yard. Even Carson’s enthusiasm was fading.
I do believe Ozel is definitely going out of heat. When I take her on a road trip to Corpus Christi, that ought to finish it for sure.

Been there, done that - with Obi Wan and Lumen and also Obi Wan and Ree.
Hugs for the disappointment. You did what you could. Hopefully next time around and get her to your place earlier than the progesterone tests say. Gives them more time to figure it out rather than slam bam thankyou mam
