I took Ozel out this morning, she peed, then just wanted tons of attention. But I had a lot to do before 9:00. So I crammed her back in the dog crate. She is not enamored with it. After I set up the bridal suite, I took her back out, she ate her food that she didn’t eat last night. I might’ve held the bowl in my lap…..
Whew! I made it! I had to drive trailer through 2 gates, make big circle out in the middle field, go back through a gate, drop, block and chock trailer, unhitch and go park truck. Oh, I swept out horse poop before I moved it. I put water and her blanket in it and then her. She seemed relieved to be back “home.”
Since I didn’t want to run the gauntlet of 30 starving sheep with a feed bucket intended for the horse, I tossed them a little feed and closed them up in the small night pen.
Starving mistreated sheep. Pitiful.
Horse heard my voice when I took Ozel out early this morning and stood in the corner waiting on me. He got excited when he realized I brought feed.
I got all animals cared for and squared away, with 30 minutes to spare. Having breakfast of a piece of cheese and a glass of milk. Gotta go!

I do know of litters that were bred on day 28 - so there's that. Not often, but has happened.

His registered name is Beer Joint. She’s been calling him Pub. Makes sense if Tupi are from the UK, but not in East Texas. Pub doesn’t roll off the tongue, I don’t like it. Her name is Jax, which also was a beer. Considering Jax.

Agree to nix Pub! Doesn't suit him. You could go completely off the range and name him something non beer related, too.
