I was waiting, but the aggressive loose dogs didn't show at the usual time today. Hope they've been picked up. 🔒

I had Caleb outside in the driveway earlier in the day, and he barked. One of the neighbors across the street came outside holding a broom...to use to protect Caleb!

I thanked her sincerely.

New "buddy"!

I can't recall his name, but this HUGE GSD lives with my backyard neighbor (we share a fence/boundary). I don't see the dog often, it's the first time since I adopted Caleb.

He seemed friendly with Caleb, who got excited, and tried to get him to play zoomies. Too old to zoom, but Caleb didn't seem to care. He was a friend!

I think it's the chicken challenge 😁
That's it. I'm going to create a barrier, more like a privacy screen, to keep the chickens from seeing Caleb. They freak out when he gets close, and it stimulates him to jump at them. I don't want the chickens to hurt themselves.

My chickens stopped freaking out when Maverick would race down to their fence and bark. They now all just stand there and blink at him.
That would be great. The game birds were the ones flying into the sides of the hoop coop and I was concerned they'd break their necks.
