Lawd... Day shift left me a mess. Been working my tail off for 2hrs straight in hopes of getting it all worked out & having an 'easy' night later.
I'm so drenched, I think the baby powder in my undies is forming a roux.

Working out a door between the 2 sections is the tricky part.

Would it be at all feasible to build a human door on the outside of the other side? That would mean a little bit of a trek walking around from one side to the other when you are doing chores, but probably no worse than if you had two separate coops that you had to feed and water separately.

Of course, cutting a door into the wall of my coop would be above my pay grade. But a lot of you farm women surprise me with the stuff you are capable of doing.

Chicken wire wall
Roosts lowered, giving two 4' each side
Nest boxes on floor
Replace auto door ☆Does anyone reccomend a brand?

I cut a hole in the side & installed a top-hinged window years ago. I'm not sure I'm up to that kind of remodeling again.
