Low log to help them get up on the ladder. The triangle nest boxes are (hopefully) to keep them from pooping all over the suggested nest box.

The pile... after I've chased them out of it half a dozen times. In less than 2 hrs they spread it to nearly twice it's original footprint 🙄 & flung a good bit off the top.

Nearly there. Breaking for some lunch.
Anyone wanna take bets as to whether or not I can dig up that tree & replant in the pasture??

It's about 10' tall. Gotta check with Eva 1st. I'm not going to put all that work into it if she's going to yank it up & eat it before I even get back out of the field.

Looks great and yep that sounds about right. My girls never leave a pile standing, they make quick work of it...lol

There is an old sprayer in a box in the barn. One Bob never even opened... sooo 20+yrs old. It's a plastic handle thingy with a jug attachment. Might be more parts in the box, I haven't looked yet. I want to pick up a gallon of oops paint & paint the inside of the coop.
The problem with a sprayer tht old may be that the rubber washers are dried out and cracked. If that is the case, take them to a harware store and get new washers. The washers need to be flexible so they hold the pressure when spraying.

I wanted DS1 to use our electric sprayer to put the reflective coating on the connexboxes but he said it was too thick. He is also worried that the washers aeee too old and cracked. Eventually he will check it out and replace any washers so we can spray the popcorn ceilings in the house.

You will probably have to thin the paint down to use it. If you know the brand, or can see what size of nozzle it has, we can probably figure out how much to thin it down.
Both Lowes and Home Depot have the additives to put in paint when using a paint sprayer. The paint needs to be thinned to come through the nozzle. Those stores will also have replacement washers in the hardware department.

Good point and definitely something for her to check.

Yes, they will need to match the thinner to the paint they are using. 🙂
