Hey it’s great to hear from you. Always something that needs money thrown at it, but your wife can’t roll around on bald tires. Good man-you took care of her.

The front tires on the farm truck have been there for 10 yrs. A lot of may pops here. The only thing that I did try and keep new rubber on was the new truck (which I sold) and the camper. Both of those had blow outs causing thousands in damage. I still haven't fixed the camper, I'd hate to know what that'll cost. While in KC to save fuel I had to put 2 tires on her old car (wasn't worth selling) just to drive it then had to get 2 or 3 more over the following 4 months. 1 was to replace a new one.

I still need a spare for the camper. I put the good spare on before another blow out and that old one got put on the stock trailer. It's one size smaller than the stock trailer. I also picked up my 3 horse slant gooseneck a couple of months ago that someone has had for the last 5 years. It has 1 tire on it that is good from the trip over there. I took it home on 3 got home on 2 the next week I noticed 1 of those was separating. Not buying 3 more for it unless I'm selling it. I need new stock trailer tires now just to get a spare for the welding trailer. (I may have said that)

4+" now in 2 days. That's more than almost any month in the last 5 years.

Tires are terrible expensive. Gotta have them, vehicles don’t roll without them.

I put on 6 tires yesterday. Well, the tire place did one. I got 3 new tires and 2 of their used tires thrown on some extra wheels. I switched one, used one on the camper for a new one and one on the camper spare, which I can keep on the truck for which ever trailer has a blow out first. I didn't want to have to pull a trailer tire before I go if I end up back on the road with the camper. Good news, no more car tires on the single axle stock trailer. Now to get another rear tire on the truck (a right dual was one of the new ones) so I have 4 holding air on the big horse trailer.

We got another >2.5" of rain yesterday and more coming today. That's just under 4" for the last 4 days again.
