Today just some small -- get over it! -- things to wipe off my list, hopefully off the nag list in my mind. So a mixed up day. 🤷. No "projects" just loose ends.

Coffee was strong! Water added. New bag, usual type. Probably roasted a touch long...less grounds in next pot! Was a wake up sip 🤣.

@Baymule -- they'll be hot on the roof but, the END is insight!! What a relief it will be to cross that off!

Enjoy your day everyone! :celebrate:frow

I completely blew Tractor Supply guy mind when I told him the roll would fit in my Highlander. Apparently, he's never done the trick of sticking forklift tine down center of a roll...

Welp, I did it!! I rode Mister this morning for the first time in 6 or 7 years!!
I am so very happy for you!!!! I hope it can become a regular occurance.

I've been meaning to ask,... Is that the mouth piece looking device and how's it working for you.
Yes, I'm on my second TAP now and the original device was a similar function but with sliding tubes connecting the upper and lower "retainer. You can open your mouth with that type but you have to go back to the dentist some number of times to have "shims" put on the rods to change the amount your lower jaw is pulled forward (don't know that they make them anymore). The TAP is adjusted by the wearer with a very small hex wrench. I've been using an oral appliance for what, over 20 years now????

I HATED HATED HATED the CPAP. Woke up every time the mask ripped off my face when I rolled over. Was offered two options by the ENT - remove body parts (which obviously can't be undone and may not work) or try an oral device made by a dentist (*). I wasn't going to start with option 1, that is a given.

Oral appliance works for me though I guess not everyone. I am somewhat unusual for an apnea sufferer, I'm not overweight at 6'2". I have a nephew who is 6'4" and probably twice my weight (step sister's son) and was told the oral appliance would not work for him because of the weight (I assume that means too much fat in the neck restricting flow?). Same with his wife (similarly oversized). We were packing both their CPAP and humidifier machines for their honeymoon 5 years ago. Severely limits one's vacation possibilities.

* Had to fight the insurance company on that one, just because it is made by a dentist doesn't mean it has anything to do with dental health!!!! It is "durable medical equipment" and should be covered by medical insurance.

Rain. Heavy. I see more coming. Guess outside is "done" for the day. Chores done, yard mowed. Weed eating 90% -- tangled in fence stopped me. Got all loose, then ran from black clouds & put stuff away. Inside, nice shower, clean clothes, cold beer! 😵‍💫. Haven't had a beer in a year or more. 🤣 It's refreshing!

Wonder what's for dinner?🤔. Maybe a stir fry. Hmmm

Rumbles and darker clouds after sun and very muggy. Few sprinkles, shut the car windows, maybe a little rain but then looks serious after 6-7 p.m. Leg/hip burning and sore... just took some stuff to try to take the edge off again... :he :hit:hit😩. Going up to do the cow in a bit then to Deb's for some supper... Took some frozen mini-eclairs out of freezer...they aren't bad... to thaw for a treat for desert.

I've gone to a dentist..... once. He said nothing I can do, you need an emergency visit to the oral surgeon. Also no insurance.
