I'm done! In for the night. COLD out!! 20 and dropping. Winds at 13mph fm NW. Fed grains&alf pellets. Filled barn hay racks, re-bedded the barns, broke ice, again, refilled tubs. All I can do. It's not AS bad with their body heat and out of wind.

Saw 2 does beginning to bag. Couple weeks out.

Coffee is ready! I slept till 7:30! I’ve already been out and fed. It’s 25 and blowing a gale. Next 3-4 days will be lots of rain. I got a bunch of boxes from son’s house to go through. I’ll either keep or repack for garage sale.

We are predicted to get over 4” in 3 days. It will be a miserable week. The sheep pens turn to poop soup. Next year I will have a barn sitting higher than the swamp.

And everything is frozen outside. At least next week will be above freezing. I’m betting that 4” of rain will finally fill the 2 ponds up. They are still 1 1/2 feet low from the summer drought.

This is our coldest morn so far. Predicted single digits and close as you can get -- a 10 . And that's not the good kind of rating, it's the temp. For us it's like the below temps out west. I slept in, so did animals! They're just starting to check out the sunshine, so I'll suit up and work the feed and water routine. Then we'll all go back to our inside houses.

At least great sunshine, the winds have lessened and supposedly tomorrow begins the upswing to our more normal 50s..... YES!!! Bring it on.

Job work starting back up next week. It's a transition I deal with, a real "love/hate" thing. But if weather stays "warm" and job "slow" for another month I'll be ok. Some kidding will begin in Feb it appears. Those girls never read a calendar.

Raining here - day 2 of rain and more tomorrow. Looks like my weather is moving toward @Baymule ! Warmer and wet.
