Been a pretty nice day... sunny and warmer, upper 50's, not much breeze... and DS not available to help finish the basics on the poultry pen... he texted earlier and is not feeling well... said he was going to lay down for awhile... but there is a new set of twin bull calves this morning.. she has a good sized udder... hope they both got colostrum and nursed... he said she was talking to both... he saw one nurse... guess he will go back to check on them later...
Came in to eat a sandwich... going back out to see about taking apart that "box #1" of the actual coop/run combo and see what is what...

Both boys on awol walkabout this afternoon. 7 hours no sign of them. We spent all afternoon looking. We had doubled checked fences this week due to weather. If they show up they will be cabled. If they don’t they are my last LGDs. Just not worth the blood, sweat, tears, time and treasure to contain them. Yeah I’m mad. And my sheep have no dogs to watch them. Looking for a donkey.

Back to work day. Shoulda worked Fri or Sat -- goat challenges Fri & auction Sat. Sunday I was tired, uninterested, stayed home. Soooo, today!!! All week, actually. It'll be a tough week with that. But next two are light, so just plow thru this one.

Just changed the stove & MW clocks....noticed those while fixing my morning brew. Old so not the auto switch like phone & computer. Now I won't be gaining & losing an hr every morning, really screwing up my day. My phone keeps my day & date in front of me, otherwise....????

@Blue Sky I hope the dogs return and are ok. Around here, the neighbors would freak & call animal control.

Daylight soon. Chores await. Refill cup until.

Yesterday after church it was cloudy, cold, windy and I watched a movie. Today it’s 41F with high of 70F and low wind of 3-5 mph with gusts up to 12 mph. I’m thinking burn pile. 3 of them.

The boys are back. Fortunately for you all there is no smell-a-vision. Both thoroughly skunked especially Moses. Otherwise ok. No wounds or boo boos. Caddo ate and went straight to his dog house. Moses is telling Leo and Sophie tall tales. My biggest fear was the busy highway and side road. Thanks for the good wishes.

Even my Covid nose can detect Mose’s location. He’s not sleeping in his dog house. Probably can’t stand himself. Serves him right.
