Nice memories! Traveling across the US was our plan once Ron retired, but instead of an RV we were looking at getting a fiberglass trailer, like a Scamp.I'm in same general area as @fuzzi and our aver rain is 49". That's almost an inch a week avermakes for good gardening -- except July/Aug can be a heat challenge for plants.
About 30 yr ago DH & I traveled the West Coast by RV. We did a LOT of RVing back then & traversed cross country several times, visiting many national parks, etc. We wanted to see the USA and sure did! In retrospect, I've seen things that may not be there now -- or has seen significant changes. Glad to have done that traveling. Now, photo albums of memories.
Back to our normal winter temps this week. I could sure do without the extra winds!! Too much turbulence makes outside work unpleasant. Today I have a day of job work -- not much & mostly audit stuff. More driving, store to store, with these type jobs. It's $$ so, suck it up...can't do much outside anyway. Looks like 2 days of work next weekat just one location. Yep, slowly working back into the workaday grind
