Coffee anyone ?

Good afternoon all :frow
Just got in for some coffee. Did a stack of scamazon returns that have been piling up and a package that needed to get dropped off at the PO. Then went to the vet to get better meds. These temperature swings are really taking a toll on the dairy calves. That and they've been fogging us quite a bit with pesticide drift from the vineyards all around us. I'm sure that isn't helping. Can not wait to be out of here. So got some more potent meds to try. Hopefully that will lick this pneumonia we've been fighting. Picked up another load of hay for the dairy cow. Each trip I keep saying hopefully this is the last load and then we're out again and I'm off for more. 🤦‍♀️Got up to two more people reaching out on CL adds. One came and picked up one of the two remaining gates. Yay! One more thing gone. The other wanted video and measurements for some grain troughs. She needed to talk to her husband about them. We'll see if she gets back to us about them. Sure getting slim pickin's here on feeders and grain troughs. 🥴
Almost time to go start chores and get the cow I have separated milked. Got a lot of packing and sorting to get done this weekend. Hoping to get on the road next week. If I don't get on the road early next week I can't be back in time for the semi that's supposed to be coming. Also going to be tricky with weather on the trip. Hoping it moves out before I need to leave.
Hope y'all have a blessed evening! :hugs
I was wondering how things were going. Hope you get on the road like you need to. 💞

We have a severe thunderstorm warning tonight with wind gusts up to 70 mph. So far it's not too bad at our house. A friend said they've gotten a little roof damage. I'm praying it doesn't ruin our friend and sons bosses cherries. We always get some rain this time of year, right when the cherries are ready. We need the rain, but damaged cherries will set him back further. Trusting in God.

I realize that my brain can't comprehend just working 40 hours a week. Gotta be 50, minimum. Really only November and December this year did I just do 40. Those were boring days.
I'll try for 40 this summer, but I think I'll be finding ways to work on school stuff during the summer when I can.

Beautiful morning here, I already loved this town I moved to in August, but with the coming of summer and busy season, I find myself loving it more and more each day.
One more week until school gets done, then straight to restaurant work. Don't actually know why I am still going in early, but I'll go find something to do.
