Up at 4:40, nature call. My lower back was very stiff, must be from moving the straw bales. I crawled back under the covers and crashed. Guess I needed the sleep

Slept until 7 alarm Bottle babes breakfast warming while I coffee up. Going to dealer for Alf mix of hay. Hope it's good when I get there, 30 miles out.

Sipping second cup. OK this group goes from percolators (have wanted to try - have my grandmother's old one -CorningWare but not the guts to it) to fancy shmancy (yeah me) - now that's what I call diversity !!.

I have a corning ware one and a metal camp stove one. Old things can be handy. Just hope I won't need to use the old scrub board for laundry any time soon.

I stocked up on Folgers Black Silk and one other variety. I like the silk one too. I have enough for a year now. Hubs thinks its cheap, but we no longer can afford fancy smanchy Peets or Sbucks.
