Coffee anyone ?

How is everyone in Texas and tornado alley doing after the severe winds yesterday? Central DFW was trashed with tornadoes while western Texas had dust storm blackouts. @Baymule @Ridgetop @KodeshAcres

I have to redo the sheep shed roof and clean up a bunch of down tree limbs. Otherwise, we are fine.
@Margali its been a busy time trying to clean up after the storm 😣 the hay shed was completely uncovered when we woke up yesterday, all the hay I had just purchased last Thursday was soaked all around the top and sides. Both the tarp over the cattle panels and the tarp to cover the hay were blown off. Snickers’ shelter is busted, most of the yard is still a soggy muddy mess, and we lost electricity for a few hours. It’s been a bit frustrating for me, but I understand this is just a part of owning livestock and learning how to put things together better the second or third time around. I’m grateful the flock did well through it since we don’t have a barn to bring them into, also the hay dried up pretty quickly after the sun came out and with it still being pretty windy. We’re supposed to get more rain on Saturday :hit

I'm so sorry. These setbacks are frustrating but you've got a great attitude. Keep that up & you'll weather all the storms (pun intended 😉) that homesteading will toss at you.
If you've got nice weather for the next few days, you might be able to save some of the hay by busting the bales & spreading them out to dry faster.

Protein shake and bagel in hand. Big snowstorm is rolling in. It’s here just a little too late for school to get canceled today, but I think there’s a solid chance it’ll be canceled tomorrow. I have snowshoes in my car, and I think there’s a chance I’ll need them to get the three miles home after school.

Another ditto day. At the point of not enjoying it now -- working gets old during reset season 😤😁 The fat checks help but, time for some slack. It'll happen, another week of it.

Weather back to chilly, darn it!! The white crap, then lovely warmth & sun 👍 now chilly & gloomy. Where's the reset button??? :idunno I want springtime!

A cup refill will probably help :caf😁

I flat out REFUSED to get up at 3.🙈 Nope!
Didn't do much good, dozed a little, tossed & turned a lot.
Got up just as dawn was starting peek through the trees & started a pot of coffee.
This morning will be spent trying to fix my washer. This afternoon will likely be taking wet clothes to the laundromat & calling for a repairman. 🤪

and what is it doing?
It's stuck in drain mode. I unplugged it to get it to stop. As soon as it has power again, it starts trying to drain... but it's long since emptied the tub.
I've put it through the reset cycle several times & it SEEMS to work, but then as soon as I turn the dial back to select a wash, it starts'draining' again.
