Coffee anyone ?

I did the 10 minute Pilates video, it doesn’t exactly prepare one for sleep. Now muscle in back is sore, going for the Arnicare. Gonna turn off rock n roll and go read in bed.
I got the arnicare arthritis cream. It's really been helpful in these long nights in the creel. Thanks for the info.

Belated Happy Mother's Day. I didn't get on yesterday, but me and the boys went for a drive after feeding the mules and made a nice redneck bouquet for the wife. She asked Sat when I'd be home Sun. I said I never know until something comes up, I'm home now let's grill tonight.

@SageHill I read Mother Earth and a few other articles about composting. Usually I just think, yea right, maybe some yuppie on 2 acres putting it on their blog or facebook that'll work but here in the real world, I'm just going to pile stuff up and 3 times a year when I remember I'll spray it with a water hose. It is supposed to be hot to help it break down and get rid of anything bad, blah blah blah I'm not taking it's temp. I wouldn't worry about fire personally even where you are. It'd have to be the perfect humidity and heat.

I have seen the double 55 gal barrel compost set up that I like but will never do. Easier to maintain and turn. It's just 2 drums with a hole drilled through them, a stand, and a pipe in the barrel/drum and on the stand. Fill one up, flip it whenever you like, after it's full let it set and start filling the other.

Woke up before the alarm

Punched in at 6, read all my emails before making coffee.

Germaphobe across from our main office is apparently using up her monthly allotment of Lysol spray, door open, so it's all down the hallway. Now I feel like I'm coming down with something. She needs to buy herself a bubble instead of poisoning the rest of us. Everytime I think I might hold off retirement for another year I am reminded why I don't want to postpone it.

Thanks for the info. I'll keep it in mind. If/when I decide to take that leap. :)

I've never turned a compost pile either... sorry, too much work... pile it and add to it, gets too high to dump on top; then start another next to it as it sits til next year to use...pallets work good for that... and piling it will cause it to "shrink down" so you can get alot in it... yeah, use the hose if it is dry if I remember... but we don't get near as dry here in comparison to you.

You all are great enablers, even down to the compost. I guess there's the compost purists and then the practical composters. Now you all have me leaning to actually giving it a shot. Now to find a place where I can set it up. Yeah - even a pile of "dirt" needs to find a place, not because I'm picky - goodness knows I'm far from that - but to find a level enough tractor accessible spot. Hills are pretty, until you try to use them.
