The wet cold weather is getting to be boring, not to mention uncomfortable! Yep, been in upper 60s inside for several days. I'm over it! Having to wear sweatshirts or a sweater. Next week is June!! Normally pretty warm already.

In a couple weeks I'll be complaining about the heat

Out for chores in a few...then to work. Still babysitting this incubator full of eggs. Broodies are SO adored!! Hope it's a good hatch because the chick care part is time consuming. Why did I do this? a good idea that's not really fun.

Coffee and egg-bite just finished up. Have a full compliment of detection students today -- pays for the hay bill.
Overcast - good, high of 71 good. If the overcast holds it's what they call a May-gray day. Living on the ranch I really like that - keeps the heat down. May Gray, then on to June Gloom hopefully, then summer heat.
Moving sheep to the pasture first thing.
Oh and 8 more hours of weed whacking yesterday, still a lot more to go.

Thanks. It is like a bait and switch. I fought back until I saw the physician's notes, I didn't have anything to counter her incompetence.

I work with Residents, and although they know better, sometimes they will copy/paste their notes to save time. The faculty come down HARD on it, they don't tolerate that sort of thing.

Allstate can keep their ill-gotten gains.

God's got me, I'm okay, and I'm pretty sure I won't be begging bread in the near future.

Coffee is ready. It’s white with fog outside. Yesterday we went to a friend’s and my grands played with her grands, outside in the drizzly rain, inside for snacks and drawing/coloring. Then to visit my sister in law that got her leg cut off a couple of weeks ago, she is doing good. Home, baths, supper, church, store in Apple Springs for cokes and ice cream. Today? Got to go to sister in laws doctor office and fill out paperwork for her this morning. Then, I don’t know.

Enjoying a fresh batch of coffee -- Sumatra, a favorite

Up at 5:30 with achy arm -- started coffee, put heating pad on arm. Feeling It's another day at work in a couple hrs. It's Thursday and I'm seeing Sat as a welcome relief! Week of rain & work both over for couple days anyway.

Young group of chickens doing well and incubator still seems fine. 6/6-7 hatch expected.

Out to milk, feed, etc in a few. Then hot shower & leave.
