Nothing new. 😁 Ditto day. Chores, work, chores...bed.

Up before my alarm. What's up with that? Ahhh the chicks are on my mind. Another chore - check temps, food, water, etc. Systems are working! What's going in is coming out  lotta clean up.

First cup about done. Quick outside check, change and leave for work. Enjoy your day everyone :frow

Afternoon all. Coffee??? that should've been a long time ago for me, almost beer 30.lol
On the note of coconut oil I can't make a claim but I have seen and heard of many people using a vegetable oil on horse feed. Start with a little working up to a couple of cups a day (1 twice a day) on feed/grain of choice. It seems to help the fat stick to the ribs so to speak. Slow but seems to work on the not so easy keepers or getting one back up to shape. Always easier to keep a horse (any animal) fat than to get one fat. Especially with an animal using it's reserves faster than your putting them on, i.e. working/riding a horse or milking another animal.

Keeping a horse fat and what is the best color of a horse? Fat, is some of my grandpa's sayings. I will say he didn't mind heavy things in general.

Hubbs put this together, did the sanding and varnishing on the top which was reputed to be poached Sequoia (the guy who gave it to us only lied when his lips were moving). Pretty wood whatever it is. The base was a snag he fished out of the Red River. We cleaned it but didn’t sand or varnish, it looked cool the way it was. Usually I have flowers in the various openings but someone keeps letting a certain puppy in the house….

Just getting "started" -- initial wake up -- moving slow, careful, on auto pilot. :old standard morning routine gets you to the kitchen and coffee. Ahhhhh, finally things begin to work, hands, legs, mind. At some point you think "what's today gonna bring?"

Good morning all. 😄 Hope your morning fog clears, too. I'm coming together -- another cup of get up juice and I'll be functional again. I'll read my note to me, written last night, so I know what to do. Let's hear it for us elders still at large & in our "prime". 🥳🥳🤣👍👍

Let's see, phone says it's Wednesday -- nice to know -- checked weather, it's tolerable. Good thing to have, a phone, now my information center. Oh, page cant be opened, hit "reload". I'm wondering, where's my personal reload button?? I need one.🤣

On my second cup of coffee. Got one inch of rain yesterday, Its foggy now, supposed to get more rain today. Yesterday i binge watched movies. I got a few things done yesterday morning, then the rains came. Not complaining, because central Texas is getting rain and they are is serious drought. Weather radar on TV has a storm hitting here around noon.

At work.
:caf

We're on a muggy/rainy/thunderstorm pattern this week. I managed to mow some on Monday after work, the side area and the other half of the backyard may have to wait a week.

Probably stopping at the W store after work :sick because I realized I need a new cooler for the trip, my Lil Oscar bit the dust (40 years old). Thursday after work I pick up my rental car, maybe mow, and Friday is prepare like crazy during the day, then go to graduation dinner at 5:30.

We leave on Saturday morning, about 7am.
