I've decided to make this a slower day. Less pressure! 4 long work days in a row is enough for me....awakening with kindness. Sipping my coffee, planning my day. Gonna go to town for couple things early -- TSC, WM, Lowes all right there together + gas car -- this weekend I can have the couple odds & ends already here🙃 don't stop mid project. Looks like I'm able to be off job work until Wed or Thursday....but rains wandering thru over several days. Not much but ya know how even some can make things a problem to do.

Next -- a cup refill 😁

Between wildfire smoke, raining all the time and heat, making it hard to get things done here. Says no rain then the day before it pops up in the forecast making it hard to plan for anything.

Possible tornadoes with large hail today, yipee...

Morning all. Just saw a story about a retired carpenter who sits under a sign that says
“Got a rant? Need a shoulder? I’ll listen.” What an amazing thing to do. I canceled Twister’s shearing. He was caught in a couple of unexpected downpours and was too wet. I’ll reschedule him. Foggy this morning, some standing water. Time to let Vala out for her morning zooomies. Have a great day everyone.

Well it’s a bright and early moaning and Boone is already selling stuff. I really really wish I could’ve got him to the vet. Thursday is gonna be rough. All he can think about right now is cookies.

Last night we had the bed wars. Boone would hear something outside and as soon as he left, Fen would jump up on the bed and take his place, then Boone would come back in and be very unhappy about it. I would have to drag his carcass up towards me so he didn’t kick Fen off the bed. It made for a very long night and ended with me on the couch.
Coffee tastes especially good this morning

Yesterday was loooong as predicted. Heading home from training with Sage got stuck in a huge traffic snarl - ugh - stupid gps sent me into the thick of it, then kept telling me to go another way, said it 'wouldn't add more time'. HA I'm only going to brave cutting through 4 lanes to get to it's new predicted route if it saves more time. Add in the drowies hit (at most one hour sleep that night). Top it off with barf on the cake - pup barfed 2 1/2 miles from home. Grrr. Glad that day is behind me.
Good night's sleep last night, on my second cuppa. Going to head out in a bit to get sheep situated and then deliver eggs. Looking forward to the San Diego Pottery Guild's show on Saturday -- I'm a pottery junky, then the monthly Brick-n-Barn sale here in my little town.

On second cup of coffee. Its another white out of fog. Went to Ladies lunch yesterday in Lufkin, had a good time. Started pouring rain when I left, rained all the way to Apple Springs, 9 miles from home. Black and threatening, I jumped in my mule and floored it to beat the rain. My washing machine started working again and I hung out 2 loads of clothes. I got home, took clothes in and the bottom fell out,

Today is the Blueberry festival in Nacogdoches, supposed to rain. Do i go? Do I not? I'll probably go.
