Checked on Naomi, she's still sitting on the eggs in her new nesting box in the brooder. I gave her some BOSS and she gobbled them up. Tomorrow is Day 21.

Adjusted setup to be more chick friendly. Now I'm going to get dressed for church, bbl.

I'm going to drag the wife in the middle of the schit show what I do, she wants to learn what I do and know, welp time to go swimming in the deep end. First lesson, greasing the machine and fluids, next will be getting use to taking the machine to the limit as in dropping it off steep embankments.
Buckle up, it's going to be a bumpy ride...

HOT, HOT, HOT!! But I worked and got a chicken run useable again....patch up gate, renail a board, small stuff. Moved some chickens there for larger digs & less heat concerns for me, with that move. They're not laying yet, so won't worry about adding nests for another month. They went right to dust bathing! From 7x12 pen to 12x30....yeah bigger.

I'll add the four hen hatched in a couple weeks -- when she's ready to cut them loose. Will try to add the incubated chicks after that... 2 mos out.
