@canesisters I assume you had the weekend off 👍😁
@fuzzi my figs are all done now, too. 3 half gal jars. Plus the ones I canned, 3 qt worth. More coming.

About 7 last night we had a heavy downpour, preceded by thunder & lightening for just a short time. It was so intense you could see the curtain of water coming across the field. Glad I got windows on truck & car closed in time....it was a soaker!

Thing are clean & green. But that tall grass is sure wet to walk thru.....need to mow, again. The hay man is loving this year crops 😁

Check your feed labels! The sweet feed I use has more copper in it than it did. From 10 to 15 parts per million. Toxicity starts at 25 and I don’t feed a lot of sweet feed, so I don’t think that’s what killed my ram. Dang I hate the mystery deaths. Actually not keen on any. I feel like I ran over the Almighty’s dog then backed up to see what the noise was. It’s ok to laugh. 😆

10 to 15 PPM is ok. Hair sheep need some copper. If black sheep are tinged brown, it is a good indicator that they need copper. If you think they are getting too much copper, put out Dolomite lime, free choice. Dolomite lime neutralizes the copper effects, according to Pat Colby.

Work. Coffee. Dealing with the usual idiocies.
:caf

We had thunder yesterday afternoon, no rain.

It started getting windy outside just before I went to bed, weather radar indicated a storm nearby. We got something, but probably just a brief shower as the Joe Pye weed saucer was dry this morning, no puddles on the street.

Last night radar showed intense storms up near @canesisters location. It didn't visit us.

Lamb let me sleep until 1:20 before waking me up! Then he woke me up 2 more times before 6 AM, when I guess I didn’t wake up, because he peed on me. On first cup of coffee, got to gulp it down and go get feed this morning. I’ll feed Lucky, and leave him here.
