Agree with @Blue Sky ... I would not say another word about retiring/leaving... do the performance review, go through the motions of the new stupid program... whatever...Have hard copies in case you want to go back to some sort of part time work.... might help....
Are there any clauses / "hoops" you have to jump through to get your sick leave cashed out, that you can do ahead of time ???? And then give your 2 weeks notice... or whatever is required... and then leave with your head high.
It's supposed to be paid to me once I leave. I signed up for that option a year ago.

Watch them try to tax it as a gift.

When we were moved from sick and vacation hours to PTO they tried to just absorb our earned hours. Employees raised a fuss, got labor lawyers involved, hospital backed down. I have no access to those sick hours until I retire. I don't trust management one iota.

Twelve 24" holes drilled 4' deep and 150' trench two feet deep dug for power yesterday. The foundation for the house is taking shape, no changing house size plans, we are in too deep now. He better get his mind made up very soon of house plans before I start framing. Don't think he realizes how fast I am once the building supplies come in.

Another roasty toasty day in store for us - though nothing like all you Texans are getting (I should thank my lucky stars). Still more ewes to lamb - and two look huge, really huge and no sign of letting the littles out yet. Still working my way through this summer cold/flu, but I'm hoping I'm past the half way point, slept a lot yesterday.
