Problem with the goats....NOT used to that "home". Had they been, they'd have come back to their barn. Creatures of habit but, they had been moved,No habit.

Its another slow start, no pressure day. Overcast, dew wet out there. Only mid 70s layer. Nice.

Enjoying my fresh coffee considering what to do. Made cheese last night, probably some cajeta this morn. Need to use some milk up. Half gal a day adds up fast. Hoping to make mozzarella later this week while I'm home & have time to spare. Freezer fill. Have a winter worth of ricotta in there.

Just working on my computer for now, getting internet at my house Tuesday.
Saw some bears and elk last night.

So funny how different that looks from the elderberries around here. I wonder if it is because it is a baby, or because it is a different kind than what grows here.

Here there are oodles of elderberries, all the red berry ones.

Just now I took my temperature, 98.9°!

First time since Thursday that my fever is down below 99°, so I am very thankful. My "normal" is 97.6°, so I'm not all better yet.

Made caramel sauce yesterday -- cajeta. That means I need some vanilla ice cream and/or apple pie. Apples should be on sale in a couple months!
