I'm at work. Even here my coffee tastes like someone added lighter fluid, so I guess I did have some sort of corona virus. It stinks, I love black coffee.

Usually that part passes quickly. And you now have natural immunity to that virus and some of its cousins. When I had corona I swore a gas can followed me everywhere. I wonder why it’s a petro-chemical odor we sense?

@drstratton my youngest granddaughter’s birthday is September 1 also. Yesterday it fell on Labor Day. She wanted pumpkin pie with a 9 birthday candle. We face timed her parents and sang happy birthday. My daughter’s birthday is September 6, sometimes it falls on Labor Day.

Coffee is ready. What to do today? I’m sure we’ll think of something.

Iced coffee chased by iced tea. Hubbs is back from visiting his mom in another state. Said the flight was a zoo, noisy kids, cranky adults and attendants who looked worn out. The first mouse of the 2025 season flitted through the utility room- dang. I got the house cleaned up only to have the Maremmas and Sophie pack in a bushel of sand. Should I sweep or start fall veggies in the living room?Mice will probably vote for the veggies. My 75 hard exercise routine petered out after 3 attempts. I haven’t lost weight but clothes are looser. Got a hike planned to check fences and see if the creek has water. Have a great day everyone.

How your clothes fit is much better than relying on a scale. Congratulations your hard work is paying off.

We took 2nd place in the tournament yesterday, it was so much fun!

I took an antihistamine for my bee stings yesterday afternoon and slept for about 2 hours. I never take naps and if I do, I can't sleep at night. Well, I slept like a log last night. The stings had been keeping me awake from the itching. I definitely needed the extra rest.

Now I need tea!️

I think it's a vacation bible school type of song. I never went, but might have learned it at Girl Scouts.

Yeah, it sounds like that might be what it is. My mom used to sing all kinds of fun little songs to us and I sang them to my children and now my grandchildren.

Any meat tenderizer with papain (papaya extract) should take the sting out when applied as a paste. It’s not immediate. I was stung by some very irate wasps (grabbed a hidden nest while gardening- genius move) and it barely worked but I’ve had good results with honeybee stings.
