Good morning folks. So you know those ads that are always on here between posts? I’m pretty good at ignoring those because I know they are just click bait. They have a lot of ones about what to feed your dog or cat. This one happened to catch my eye and I was like “No way am I giving my dog whipped fake cream!” Then I saw that it said to do this for older dogs, and my thought was ok, older dogs probably have a hard time keeping on weight, so adding some fat makes sense. Then I saw their definition of “older dogs”- 3 years old!! Such a stupid click bait ad!

So I decided I needed to post it and rant to you guys. 🤭 IMG_4563.png

I’m taking a news fast today. Hubbs is very political and wants to discuss every item. To. The. Last. Detail. I get it. But I also need a break from the end-of-everything and isn’t-it-just-awful news cycles. My brother’s birthday was a few days ago. He’s 79 and fighting a holding action with an assortment of health issues and ptsd from decades as a paramedic. We are planning a visit but one thing or another comes up. Possibly he just wants to avoid my cooking. Well off to check on a barking Moses. Have a great day everyone :weee

Nope. Don't do that. You can restore the calcium balance in your body with a homeopathic remedy Calc Fluor. It will dissolve the bone spur without taking shots or surgery. Take 4 tablets under the tongue 3 times a day. In 2-3 weeks the pain should be gone. If you take the shot of cortisone and or surgery, the imbalance that caused the bone spur in the first place will still be there and it can come back. You can search the web for a better price, but Hylands has an explanation for what each remedy is used for. I once had a bone spur so bad that I could hardly walk. I researched it online and found cell salts. I ordered the Calc Fluor and got relief in days. I took the remedies for 3 months and have never had another bone spur.

Thank you so much! 💞 I will give this a try. I definitely don't want to have surgery. I've had enough of those to last a lifetime.
Oh and for your calf muscles being so tight and painful, use Arnicare rub and it comes in the pill remedy form also. When I had knee replacement surgery, I was one big bruise from my hip to my ankle, plus pain. I took the pills every 4 hours, and used the cream to rub on my leg every 4 hours. I ditched the hydrocodone and just used the Arnicare.

I wish I would have known about this when I had my knee replaced. I can't take hydrocodone, makes me really sick. Most of them do. I started taking Ibuprofen as soon as I could.

The crazy thing is, my calves don't feel sore or overly tight. It's only when he had me do some specific stretches that I realized how tight they actually are.

Thank you again. I very much appreciate this. 💗

break from the end-of-everything
While the country IS having many issues-- political & financial -- I'm tired of the constant, repeated "news". Just be sure you're aware, prepared for the worst & go on! At least no one here to debate my feelings! Geesh, my goats don't argue or give a hoot -- they scream just feed me and we're good. 🤣

The upheaval over SNAP & other gov spends is annoying. Those who are young & skimming the system need to go to work like the rest of us! The undeserved $$ can go to those who truly need help. Yeah, wake up, get a job. Plant potatoes & tomatoes!

Good morning all!

The day is looking brighter now that I have the prescription info from Dr @Baymule ...😁💗

I only have a few things to finish up before we can head out today. We worked our butts off yesterday and got a lot of things checked off. Hubs is playing golf. He also has a couple of things to do when he gets home. We bought electric bikes when he retired, with our last big tax return. We are planning to take those with us. So they will need to be loaded into the pickup. We're looking forward to the break, but seems like we run out of things we like to do when we're in Spokane. It's hard to just relax for too long. There's always something to do at our place...mow, weed, feed animals, get stung by bees, cut down trees, plant trees, etc, rinse, repeat... you all know what I'm talking about... never a dull moment...lol

Well, gotta fill my prescriptions...😁

Have a beautiful day everyone!💗

Repeated news is the worst.

This... take away the free money, when they're hungry enough, they'll figure out what they need to do. Hopefully, it's not just to continue stealing from others who work for their food.
Get a job!

Dr. Baymule gave me terrific advice for my arthritic knee. Arnicare is good stuff. My kneecap was broken in a car accident but I was young and dumb and uninsured so I hobbled and healed. It’s given me problems sporadically through the years but always returns to normal if I stay off of it. It’s the meantime that’s the problem. Caddo went on walkabout (2nd in a week). Showed up sore and skunky (sigh again). My last hen disappeared so he may be visiting vengeance.
When I was young I was anxious to go to school then work. My birth family was such a mess, I had all the incentive I needed. Some in my extended family today are failing to launch or having launched failed to maintain orbit. I guess a bizarre benefit of growing up with velociraptors is you meet the world with the knowledge that people are mean, life is unfair and you are the skipper of your own boat.

I grew up as a migrant worker. My dad was a jack of all trades and couldn't stay in one place. My first cherry picking bucket was a Folgers coffee can with a custom harness, made by my dad, that should tell you how little I was. I was out in the orchards from the time I was a baby until I moved out of my parents home. We mostly kept what we earned, but there were times that our money helped to support our family. We lived in travel trailers, tents, motor homes, motels and sometimes my parents would rent a house. I've worked all of my life. My children worked out in the fields and orchards too. We have friends that own farms and orchards. If they wanted extra spending money, they needed to know where it came from and how to earn it themselves. The work is available, people just need to learn that they are not above it.

HA!!! Obi Wan (Mr Picky Eater) -- I used to put whipped cream on his food all the time. Shhhh - don't let him know that I said that or he will hold out for it.

Weather forecasts here are jumping all over the place. Guess the weather folks are tired of losing time to the news and repeated news (gotta leave that behind it just keeps dragging us down). It's like the gapers block on the freeway where there's a bad crash.
I spent yesterday in the kitchen cooking and cooking and more for the kids. I'll be taking lots of meals and goodies down to them later today, of course in "trade" for holding DGS :love. Yup, snuggling DGS is a cure to all.
