Sometimes you just gotta stop working and go have some enjoyment.
I don't think this qualifies as only reason I did is cause I'm interested in going this route for cattle. These I could take to the local auction house.
I originally got pigs to seal ponds for these animals or bison, then I ended up striking water and seen how simple it is. Now I have a well drilling rig that can drop wells on all properties and I am glad I didn't dig so many retention ponds. Wasn't too keen on how destructive pigs can be to a place where vegetation doesn't grow well. It was a learning experience and it's time to up the game.

Good morning. Non coffee drinker in a coffee free household, but last night was late and it looks like there's a storm coming in so there will probably be caffeine later. A fall kidding season of 5 does coming in fast and furious is today's fare. Three out of five done with the fourth working on it. Any extra time will be spent cleaning the house. Stupid tired. But winter milk!

No coffee here either. It's tea for me!
Hope everything goes well. 🙂

Was out the door in the dark this morning. I took Sage to a nosework thing up in the mountains - 60 miles away evelation 4000+ ft. It was cool 50-60 gorgeous clouds and the air was fresh. Great way to spend the morning.
Back down here by lunch to feed the sheep.

Looks and sounds like you all had a great time at the swap. There's a place here that does events. Any event there gets crammed with people. A lot of people coming from the city (San Diego) for their day in the country. I used to go all the time, but anything there now has gotten too crowded and the vendors mostly are just resellers of junk.
Up north in the San Jose/San Fran area there are a lot of pumpkin farms. Probably 15-20 years ago I was in that area for a herding trial this time of year. Getting anywhere was stop and go - serious traffic jams (all 2 lane roads). That's when I found out about the pumpkins up there and all the city folk head out for their day in the country.

Checking in. Had to work yesterday, so trying to cram as much as I can into my day off. Which that first started off like any go my "days-off" where I followed a genius idea to run more miles then should be possible, just before whatever morning commitment I have.
Watching TV for hopefully the rest of the day, and maybe making some food so I can eat for a couple of days.
No idea what's coming this week, but it will happen.
