Morning all. A good night’s sleep for me. I nibbled the corner off of some extra strength whatever and blew the froth off of a couple. Yesterday I was moving some feed and chow around and dorked my shoulder. Much better today. Hubbs spent three hours on the phone with the entity that poaches part of his paycheck for an employer health care account. My 5 hour trip to the ER in June ran nearly $1000 an hour. Medicare popped for most of it and we foolishly believed we’d pay the rest with the healthcare account. Nope. Some offshore lassie with the voice and a command of English of Henrietta Pussycat informed Hubbs that in spite of proper passwords, mother’s maiden name, first pet’s maiden name and that of his best friend in high school-
he could not be identified and the account would be locked down while a fraud investigation was started. “Meow bye.” Henrietta 2.0 and 3.0 were engaged. Then
“Can’t meow do that meow on an android”.
Enter the laptop and a negotiation where we may have bartered away a firstborn son of somebody’s. Dear Lord when did dealing with things like this get so complicated? Dear Mr. President please appoint a medical insurance czar. Oh and the meowing form was finally submitted.

I swear they throw up so many roadblocks that the intent is for the insured person to eventually give up. OR they get to keep the $$ for whatever amount of time that they draw interest or earnings on it over the time from when you should have had the $$ until the time you eventually get the $$. Over here we're still trying to get the $$ from my Feb colonoscopy that we were told would be covered.

I am getting to the point where I think that laws are only there to hurt the law abiding. :barnie :rant

So yesterday was my first day to babysit DGS - I told him the day he came home that we would have many adventures. Well -- day 1 of babysitting (just a few hours) we had our first adventure together. He slept most of the time, was up a little, got changed, and as we were walking around our first adventure appeared. A snake in the kitchen. Ah - this lil guy and I are going to have so much fun. We already are. :)

He's so adorable! 💗💗💗

Looks like maybe a garter snake. If my father in law saw that, he'd scream like a little girl, that's what I'd tell him he sounded like. ..
