@drstratton Are you being affected by the Leavenworth smoke? Hope not.

Thank you! We're definitely getting it. It funnels down the Columbia River gap. Anything north of us, usually blows down this way. The smoke is really heavy out there today.

My son just told me that most of the smoke is from a fire up above Lake Chelan. It's only 30% contained.
That's where we're going tomorrow.

Got chores done this morn & that's about it. Had to change pants as legs were wet from grass splashing as I walked thru. No tall boots to tuck into....need to replace those from last yr. Forgetful. Have heavy winter ones but, light slip ons kapoot.

Eating & playing solitaire is getting boring. I'm not a shopper. Overcast & high humidity. A week of this? It's punishment!

Sharing dinner of chicken, rice pilaf & corn with my granddaughter. She's using a long handled teaspoon. She eats and every once in awhile gives me a bite.

All done... the last bite was spit out...
