Coffee is ready. Day is dawning. The clean clothes in the basket next to the sofa is dwindling down after 5 days of getting dressed out of it. Having company today, I guess I’ll fold and put away what’s left. @Margali is bringing her sheep today, their pen is ready for them. My house looks like I’d rather be getting dirty outside. I swept floors yesterday…..shrug……. 😃😂😃😂😃😂😃
That is really a wonderful thing you are doing to help them with the sheep situation.... @Margali and her family have stepped up their time line to get moved ???? Originally I thought they were planning to work on the place and get things done to put it on the market after the first of the year, because her husband had to stay there for his job until after the new year???
Of course, this is Oct already....
I guess with the predators and losing that new ewe, and the concerns with the kids health,,, having it ready to go on the market ASAP, and having the sheep "taken care of for now". makes it a whole lot easier to be able to just pick up and go....
I cannot imagine how difficult it has been being separated from the family and the worry with the kids' health episodes and such. I give her alot of "thumbs up" for doing what they have managed already.

Checking in from a dark morning. Snow is in the forecast.
Trying not to run this weekend, not really sure what to do with my extra time.
Thinking it is time to get some major cleaning in. Going to go try and gut my classroom. Kids made a comment about it not being homey and they aren't wrong.

52-75 today. A glorious day in the weather department. Sheep are already done for the morning. Going to take Sage out for some training. We've got a slow leak in the fire line (separate water line to the barn fire sprinklers) and DH and our ranch worker will be doing a locate mission on it. Then tonight dinner at the "kids" and I'll be snuggling 3 week old DGS Kit :love.
One more month of waking up in the dark - then hip hip hooray ta ta daylight savings time. :celebrate

I'm with you, I'd rather be outside than doing housework. Lol

Happy Saturday all!
Overnight low's in the 40's & daytime highs in the low to mid 70's this week then highs dropping into the 60's. I love fall, but I'm not ready for winter.

2 days to get caught up with some outside chores and then we take dil & grandbaby's to Seattle on Monday to fly home to Oklahoma...😪

The housework is going to have to wait until we get back. It's going to take a lot of work to get everything back in order around here. 6 months of 5 adults and 2 kiddos living in the same house, when 3 of those adults dislike housework more than I do...lol, sure makes it pile up.

On the agenda today, feed the bees, mow the lawn, enjoy a cup of tea out with the chickens. I hear one of the girls singing her song, so I will have eggs to bring in. I'm sure I have more to do than that, but that's a start.

Have a beautiful day everyone! 💗
