The rain materialized - sort of - mostly misty and spitty. Nothing measurable - though they are still predicting an inch  - I'll believe it when I see it. Still windy. It all held of long enough to send sheep out and clean stalls. LOL so the clean stalls are being used right away, no nice and fresh and clean for awhile. Sigh. Need to get more pine shavings sooner than later.
The fire department dropped by - doing their tour around the area. We're all good 👍, though properties close and next to us to the south have a lot of dead trees - need to go, and palm trees that need "grooming" (fyi - palm trees are like roman candles and burn hot and fast). Nice guys and mostly volunteers.

We got 3/4" of rain overnight, supposed to get the back of the storm this afternoon, more rain. So far just leaves and small branches down. Hope that's all.

Wet, gloomy day, so I'm baking. I put a fangiapane tart in the oven, I buy them whenever available at Aldi's. Then I defrosted bratwurst I'd purchased from a local farmer, added them to the oven. That was not enough, so I forked and microwaved a spaghetti squash to make it easier to cut in half.

Whew, 4 minutes and it was hot!

I had to let it cool down before scooping out the seeds. Next, I placed it cut side up, drizzled a little honey on top, then let it soak while DS baked biscuits. Once the biscuits were out I laid the squash cut side down in the pan I'd just used for the bratwurst. I put it in the oven once the tart came out.

Looks good, will fork it shortly.

About to grab a Red Bull, Ag teacher (me) is racing the kids in the mile today in PE.
Balmy 32 out, another long day of school ahead.
Supposed to get some nasty weather, just in time for me to leave for a conference. Oh well.
Hope y'all have an amazing day.

32 degrees here IS the nasty weather!

@drstratton Hope DH is ok ... something easy to fix.

Overcast again😕. So tired of it, several days in a row. No rain falling but damp out, coldish feeling. Yeah, fall has arrived. I don't see but high 60s over next 10 days. With sun I will love it! Even enjoy it!

Finally, work starts back up Monday. Feast or famine....nothing for a month, now OT. Geesh. Better get back to getting up early . I've been sleeping in lately. Going to bed late, too. Change back. DST change comes up in a couple weeks 😖
so roos will alarm earlier to help out.

Need to think about what to accomplish today.
