Today at work, new price strips....noticed many 63 oz jugs of tide are being dropped to 55 oz, same price. Thanks P&G

They've been doing that for decades. Remember tuna fish used to have 7 oz or more in a can? Now it's like 5 oz.

At work, sipping coffee, just cleaned out a bunch of old paperwork, most has gone in the trash.

Last night I was rereading an old favorite story, Conagher, when I came across this:

I have read this story many times, don't recall this paragraph. I thought "TRUTH" and meditated on it for a few minutes. I believe that part of the reason social media is popular is because people are lonely.

So true...it's why these platforms have threads to "talk".... I mean, there's no one in my house to respond or share when i say " the tomatoes are ripening". That means y'all get this blast of morning awakening -- it's a cold arse 38 out there this morn!!

Now that's out of my thoughts, gotta get dressed for work. At least there's heat in my vehicle. A mug of this fresh, hot coffee will accompany me. Enjoy your day everyone.

I feel the same way Mini. There was nobody around yesterday when I managed to make 93 cookies out of a single recipe so I could have enough for my kids and coworkers.
It wasn't particularly warm out this morning, but I know worse is coming.
Long day ahead, but we got staff potluck for lunch today, and I am excited for that.

Yeah -- seen that happen before - small size difference so public doesn't notice - keep the price the same. SIGH

They've done that with a lot of things, especially since Covid and the supply chain issues... thank you government.

I'm setting housework and husband aside for the day. Today is my turn to go out and play golf, well hack at golf...lol Heading out with one of my friends. I haven't played since we were at Lake Chelan. I have tendonitis in my left elbow, makes it painful to play, but I need to get out and enjoy the beautiful weather while it's still here.

Time for tea! ️
