The shelter doesn't adopt except on weekdays between 1 and 4, and I'm stuck at work on Monday for a meeting, until after 5. I can't get away at all that day.

Beautiful day yesterday. Up early. Trailer, cleaned stored items out, hooked up (both could have been done Friday
) Took out a section of fence to drive truck & trailer back to load up some goats. Separated some, loaded, fence back down, drove thru, fence back up 
yeah, a helper would have been faster! Totaled a 4 hr job.
I have 2 gates for this but, one opens into neighbors field -- currently has soybeans ready to harvest, if rains cooperate -- other was blocked by DS vehicle in shambles being repaired.
Anyhoo...a couple does refused to go. But, time was getting short so took what I took & gone. Delivered, check in, went home to shower & change.
It was a long day. Prices were not good, just "ok". Hay $ in hand and 4 off feed bill. It's fine. It's life. Only 2 got a delay. Will contact another who had expressed an interest. Visited with some there whom I hadn't seen in a while. That's our social time, right? LOL. Now I'm home for a week, unless some unexpected job work comes up. Decent weather & some "clean up" things need to get done here at the farm.
Wrangling goats & working outside all day, not home until 7, had me in bed at 8:30!! Dead asleep until 6am. Stretches this morn -- little back tightness resolved.

Thank you for the prayers. They're always full, they put down more last week, Hannah is gone, Panda is gone.

Two weeks? Really, talk to them and claim him -- if you feel that strongly. But, there have been others you felt connected to. You're just a dog person without a dog, wanting & yearning!!
Oh, I'm an animal person for sure, cats, dogs, etc. This boy is different than the others I've met, he feels like a heart dog.Two weeks? I texted a lady I know who fostered for years, to get her input. She has a dog that is aggressive, has to be an only dog, or I'm sure she'd be happy to pull him for me.
