Good morning all!
OK - let's see - Caleb - yuppers. Bandit is a cute name too - but there are a lot of Bandits out there. I'm a firm believer of dogs growing into their names -- and Bandit - well, where's my sock? I lost a shoe? Didn't I put that frozen chicken on the counter???
Soo all the pics of the Northern Lights were gorgeous and I'm too far south to catch any of that but I think someone upstairs felt sorry for us and sent us this sunset last night to let us not feel left out...

I really like the look with the furnishings (? if that's what you call the hair on the withers and neck). When he's out in the field he's pretty impressive to see. It'll be interesting to see if that is passed on in his ram lambs (possible in the next lambing).
The forecast rain has yet again been pushed back another day. It's sure to come - forecast added more days to the end (I swear the forecast whatevers are attention hogs ) - not complaining this time around as it gives me another day to get ready. And DH is going to pick up A LOT of pumpkins for the sheep - they'll be happy with pumpkins on the menu.
He has a mane, like some deer, elks?

Foster is keeping me updated with texts. Only one "marking" so far, said she missed his pacing clues. Took about four hours to settle down in his crate, finally slept. He loves being outside, and the no nonsense Pepper finally invited him to play. He hesitates at doorways. He didn't eat his kibble but took his HW meds in Vienna sausages. She said he's just decompressing. And teething, so about 9 months.

Do you get to go and visit him?

Coffee is ready! Its white with fog outside. We are on Day 3 of the Buford and Ozel romance, details in Buford's journal, found in the LGD forum. Yesterday my sister in law needed milk, Dr Pepper and a pint of chocolate ice cream. Living where we do, it is quite a trip, @Ridgetop and her husband cheerfully wanted to go, he drove. I told him to speed up or he'd get us killed. People pass on double yellow lines, on bridges and in general have a death wish. Sure enough, he got to witness an idiot flying around us (and he was going the speed limit) on a double yellow line, on a slight hill. After we dropped off her goodies, we went to Groveton to a BBQ place hole in the wall and it was very good. Came home and continued the budding romance with Buford and Ozel.

Coffee at hand. Clean laundry in basket folded and put away, today's load in the dryer. I was going through my pet box, didn't find the Kongs I had, bummer. I do have about 8 different brushes, still have the good pair of nail cutters, stiptic pencil, lots of expired meds.

Home puppy proofing in progress. Planning on visiting Caleb in about an hour.
