Lady with the horse is sending a hay net to keep horse busy and something in his belly. She is concerned about the long trip for him. Longest I've hauled a horse was from Louisiana, I think it was about the same distance. Didn't provide snacks, horses were fine. But if it makes her feel better, I'm all for it.

Wow, lots to catch up on from the last 24 hours here...
Possible precipitation coming down, just means I won't see any form of daylight today.
Day 2 of the long days at work, going to caffeinate less so I can sleep tonight. Think some of the kids thought I was too caffeinated yesterday
Counting down the days until Friday, and we get a week off for the Holiday.

It went fine yesterday. Actual surgery took 40 min. I barely got into my book!!

He sure was zoned out. But even with his loss of cognitive power, the recovery nurse said he woke up like everyone else.

He took a Norco at 4:15 about 15 min after we got home. Then I gave him the Rx ibuprofen at 8:30. He slept from then until 5 this morning. We leave shortly to drive back down for an office visit to see how he's doing 17 hours later.

There were children there. Six year old Tristan (next to us in recovery) had a very hard time waking up. Then he cried and rightfully complained and try to pull off his eye patch. It was breaking this Mother's heart. They brought him a purple frozen pop and that diverted his attention for a bit. Both of his parents were there, and they respectfully let the recovery nurse do her thing.

When our last bull swam under a fence in the creek to visit the girls next door that was the final straw.
Too funny -- final straw!
Although I keep hearing about an exit tax
WHAT?!?!!! HELL NO (I hope - though gruesome I'm sure will grab every cent he can - slimeball that he is)

Oh and semen tanks - that includes dogs as well.

Busy day today, gotta be able to pay the hay.

Glad to hear the surgery went well. Prayerfully his recovery will also.
