Well, I survived the last two days. And instead of leaving for work right now like I normally do, I am giving myself an extra like 15 minutes to be lazy.
Community Thanksgiving tonight, grateful they have it this week so I can celebrate with people who have adopted me here, before I head home to celebrate with my family.

Heavy dark clouds this morning, no rain until tonight - I think it may happen (even emptied the rain gauge though that may have jinxed it ). New coffee this morning. DH bought a different one - hoooo boy it's a bitter one 😝 I need to just order what is supposed to be better and get the hunt over with.
Yesterday was a full day - good dogs, good students. I am blessed to have such great clients. Guess that's my karma 🥰 .
My CA Red ewe seems to be a wee bit off her food. Just slow to getting to the bunks. I'm thinking possibly a lambing soon?? Not very bagged up, but that could just be her. Got her June I think, and she had been with a ram- so time will tell, I'll keep an eye on her, maybe she just doesn't like the mud from the rain. :idunno

And - while on the topic of mud, my boots must have a small leak UGH. Ordered new one they should get here tomorrow, or more truthfully to the PO tomorrow, to get me a pick up slip in the mailbox (because they don't bring packages to the house) and a trip to the PO day after tomorrow. Sigh.
Not sure if I should even "pack" cutting mats
Treat them like a framed painting - Stack and wrap.
Congrats on getting the packing started!! That's a big step. I remember our old house only seeming "half ours" because of everything being packed. You've got this! Won't be long and you'll be unpacking and breathing a huge sigh of relief. OH - and packed boxes, well, they multiply like rabbits.

Peppers below are good and they have fertile seeds. Just store the stem end with some pepper and the seed cluster in the fridge door and start when you’re ready. They grow like weeds for me. Have a great day everyone.

Today is where I thought I was yesterday 😁 it's now Thursday! Actually slept decent last night, unlike the toss/turns for 2 nights before. Wake up feels better when you're rested!

Nothing new here. Chores, work & no lottery win. 😶
I never win the lottery either, of course I'd have to buy tickets first!

That's a big leaf. Thank you for the tip on the peppers, I'll have to try that.

Have a lovely day! 💗

I've used linens as packing material. Can you take the fabric off the bolt and fold? And I would check to see if these "cutting mats" are available in your new location, and how much to replace them. There are no sewing stores here locally (NC), all closed years ago.

I pack large soft stuff in trash bags, with a contents label taped to the outside. Are you taking mattresses? If so, bolts of fabric could be slid inside once the mattresses are put in covers or boxes.
I could take the fabric off the bolt. I've kept it on the bolt because it has the reorder information on it and larger amounts of fabric. I may take it all off and snap photos of the information. I thought about trash bags too. Good idea on the tape labels. No mattresses. Not much actual furniture at all actually.

The house is already looking weird. Had a setback that needs addressing. Trailer is leaking rain. Thankfully checked and found the wet bottom book boxes before the books got wet. May have to wrap bottom boxes in bags to be sure they don't get wet. Will seal the leaking spots we can find with silicone if possible. The major one is of course at the front of the trailer and it's a weld that wasn't completed.

Is that why I haven't won yet?! That explains it!

I only buy lottery tickets maybe 1x a yr. 🤷 If that. But it was a big pot so I splurged $2.

Because I had my days confused, I had set up jobs for Fri. Did those today! Now, home again until after Thanksgiving. 😁
I've purchased a couple. That's just a joke my daughter and I have. I'll say once I win the lottery and she says, you have to buy a ticket first ..lol
