Snow, skip a day or two, snow more, yep winter isn't even here and it's being relentless. I like this, this weather is going to break some people. High of 36°F today which is quiet warm.

Solid few hours and couple mountain ranges away from you, but similar here.
High of 28 today, but only a low of 19 with lots of snow in the forecast today and this weekend. It hasn't gotten weird being cooped up inside yet, but I am sure it will soon. Community Craft Fair tonight and tomorrow, I am thinking of going after work, unless I decide to stay after work to finish a project for myself. Also need to go to the post office today, nobody told me how exciting those trips would be.

Just a dusting of snow still see the dead grasses out there....some accumulation on vehicles from light breeze & no ground heat to offset. Not an issue on roads, just wetness. All good. Both goats & I are glad I loaded hay in barns last night. They had breakfast at daybreak -- so did I thanks rooster.

Today I'll put a Boston butt in the oven. Takes a few hrs to cook and heats house. On sale & getting low on pulled pork BBQ, which is what it'll become after dinner for tonight. Such industrious plans

Oh, good idea on the roast! I bought a couple cuts at the farmers' market a few weeks ago. There's still some turkey leftovers in the freezer, but beef sounds like a nice change.

Boston butt is pork. Not sure why they call it a "butt" because it is technically a shoulder.

About 5 inches out there now... there was nearly 3+ when I left for the farm at 5 or so, and coming down... has let up now... 26 overnight up to 32 now... supposed to be moving off... some sun later...

On the way to DS house, then check for calves, sure hope not.... and then have to go feed hay with the bale truck... since he texted me last night and said they would need hay if we got much much snow... like I don't have anything else to do...

So glad you apparently got to keep "my portion" of the white there!! You needed it & I'm happy to share. Should melt pretty soon for good ground moisture. I hope no new calves!!

So -- if he knew it would snow, knew more hay, why not add before leaving??? Would it be too covered in snow if he did? Probably, if unrolled, not if standing . Yep, they do eat a lot more. -- digestion=body heat.
