Morning all!

Currently 46°, we actually hit 60 yesterday. Looks like that might happen again on Wednesday. It's supposed to be in the 50's all week with lows in the low to mid 40's. A little rain forecast a few days this week.

Hubs is working on pulling together supplies for our bath remodel. I think we will start the demo soon. I'm hoping we'll head over to the wetside one day this week to get the tile we'll be installing. I really hope we won't have to make multiple trips over there, one and done would be perfect, with other supplies picked up locally, only an hour away. I want everything on hand before we start, but that never happens... lol.

Time for tea! 🫖☕🍯 while I enjoy my🎄.

Have a beautiful day everyone! 💞

It's decorate the gingerbread houses day --- but DH asked about sizes for the bases so we went to the pieces that DDIL had cut out and baked Friday. AAAaaaaaannnnnnndddddd - there's missing pieces :th.
I had gone over to the barn to get sheep settled for morning and he was watching the end of the F1 race down the hall. Said he heard something but found nothing in the kitchen. TWO BIG pieces are MISSING !!!! Damn dog - (Sage was with me).No true bet on who but I have my suspicions (Twinnie). No one else has ever been caught counter cruising (except Lumen - who is incapable now, just walking is a big thing for her). Thank God I didn't toss the left over dough. Oven is on and dough is now out on the counter warming up. GRRRRR.
Other than that - all is well here sipping a latte cappuccino (the machine does all the work). Think I'll splurge on another while the dough warms and I work on Christmas presents for my students.

😂Dogs. We had a Great Dane that we rescued... hubs was cooking pork chops and had them in the middle of the counter. The top of the fridge would have been a better location...🤣

My son's cat eats everything on the countertop. Today he (the cat) will have red poop. He ate leftover beets which were in the chicken treats bowl. I do not like that cat.
My cats DO NOT get on the counter tops or the table or anything... if they do, they are taking their life in their paws... NOT FUNNY..... I'd knock them across the room, if I caught them... and they know it...Simple "NO" has stopped even the youngest from doing it more than once....a good hard slap across the butt has stopped any "trying me" more than once....
Just the same as the dogs did not beg at, or get fed from, the table during meals...... and did NOT get on the bed... understand too, I have always had big dogs... German Shepherds and such...

I'm a MEAN PERSON....

Good evening y'all!
Busy weekend. Lots of work done on two of our rigs. One is pretty much ready to start moving. The other we're still waiting on more parts for. Almost there now. Also got the trailer roof pretty much sealed up. Just a couple small spots to finish but it's sealed enough to start repacking.
Started loading freeze drier trays with the chicken broth today. Also working on making some herbal capsules. Might get a few more pumpkins baked tonight and ready to freeze dry. Haven't worked on them in a bit and need to get them finished up. Probably pack some more boxes while those are baking.
Currently sitting with a second cup of coffee trying to get a few things ordered. Trying to make sure there's enough of everything to get DH by while I'm running the first load (and future loads) to the new house. Gosh that still sounds so odd after so many years of trying. Told DH last night it's so weird because while I'm worried about pulling all this moving off in a timely manner in winter and not taking things that need to be used here while moving I'm not nearly as stressed as I have been through the entire buying process. I think it's more of an "in our control" thing vs relying on others who don't seem to do their jobs. If I thought we'd be moved in a month or two it would make "what to pack" much easier but I'm thinking it will be a while longer than that to get the majority moved. Can't take certain animal things while those animals are here but can't leave so much behind that we don't actually get moved. :thWe'll do the best we can. I think once we get the first load going it will fall into place better. :fl:fl:fl:fl
I want to extend another THANK YOU to all who've offered so much advice for moving. Especially the info on NOT trying to replace everything. While it's more to move y'all sure helped us realize it's not even remotely cheaper anymore to replace things. When we started this adventure it was still cheaper to replace most things. So many helpful tips from you all and we're so grateful!

We are mean too. Our pets have rules and they are expected to follow them. On counters and specific furniture are a big no no.
