There used to be freezing mason jars, not for pressure canning, but only for freezing. My mom had some.

Wind is howling, supposed to get down in the 20's in the wee hours of the morning tomorrow. Then bounce back up to 52for the high tomorrow. Houston news is reporting possible 80 degrees for Christmas. Beats the heck out of snow.

When a true genius appears, you can know him by this sign: that all the dunces are in a confederacy against him.
Ain't that the truth! The first doctor that advocated WASHING HANDS between handling the bodies of people that had died BEFORE doing exams on women giving birth was run out of the profession. And they couldn't figure out why there were so many women dying from massive infections..........

Guess it's why I'm at war with the neighborhood, maybe?

Makes you wonder if you are all that smart or they are all that stupid?
True! Then again, it goes along the question of; how many you know can build a house from the dirt up who is also the architect an engineer who designed it, rebuild a semi diesel engine the next day, weld structures another time or just do simple consultation on how to fix whatever over text? Or is a genius considered the one who does or did what no one else has done? Nope scratch that, cause that would loop my pole barn build in. :idunno

All I know is that if you ever decided to relocate, there would be a bidding war here for a new neighbor :love

Slacking this morn. Slept until 7:30 -- phone alarm off and the close crow roos were gone!! The other boys are in further coops, so not an issue. Ended up taking 5....and they were pretty boys. They were sitting in a spot with sunshine at the sale, feathers sparkling shiny & beautiful colors. Proud of them. Anyway, after fees they brought me $16.25 each. Hey, that's $81 feed for the others. 🤷. I'm good with that.

Nice hot coffee, no crowing, no butchering, very nice!

For the freezing in glass - I've never done it. But I do freeze things in pans then once frozen either wrap in wax paper or vacuum seal (yeah that part is plastic). That way I can easily stack things in the freezer. If I had butcher paper I could probably wrap in that.
